RULES & GUIDELINES
Please read through these rules and guidelines prior to registering for the event.

GENERAL

Badges must be visible at all times.

All attendees must pass through security / bag check to enter the Ontario Convention Center.

People under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
-
MGSCON has zero tolerance for harassment: bullying, heckling, discrimination, or disruptive behavior of any kind could result in badge revocation.
-
No horseplay is allowed
-
Should a problem arise, please alert MGSCON staff (marked by badge/shirt)
-
Please return lost items to registration.
-
Attendees are responsible for their individual actions and any repercussions that may come as a result.

Attendees must adhere to Ontario Convention Center's Guest Code of Conduct.​ Review their guest code of conduct here

Prohibited Items include:
-
Animals/Pets (except documented service animals)
-
“Colors” or gang affiliations
-
Horns, noise makers or items meant to disrupt
-
Illegal substances of any kind
-
Laser pens/pointers
-
Large bags or purses (size limit of 14”x14”x6”)
-
Outside food and beverage
-
Skateboards, rollerblades, bikes, etc.
-
Unapproved pamphlets, fliers, etc.
-
Weapons of any kind (i.e. pepper spray, chains, handcuffs, stun guns, etc.)
-
Any other item deemed inappropriate at the sole discretion of the Ontario Convention Center.

COSPLAY
-
Cosplay is not consent: do not touch or photograph anyone without their permission.
-
Footwear is required at all times.
-
No rollerblades (sorry Fatman)
-
All props must be checked in/marked at security for safety:
NO LIVE STEEL.
NO FIREARMS.
NO flammable or explosive materials.
NO projectile weapons of any kind.
Orange tip toy/resin weapons OK
Banana weapons recommended -
Do not create a hazard: no fighting or swinging props in crowded areas

Be mindful of the length of your attire as to not inhibit walkways.

MGSCON / OCC staff reserve the right to make the final decision on accepting costumes and props in the convention center.
